Master Lock® Vault eLocks has undergone enhancements and redesign to become Master Lock® Vault Home. This smart lock system allows you to use your smartphone as the key for your padlock and lockbox, eliminating the need to remember combinations.

With Master Lock® Vault Home, you can enjoy the convenience of quick and easy access, as well as the ability to share access with others. The system provides greater control through the use of temporary keys/codes, low battery notifications, and a 90-day history log.

Using a Bluetooth Smart-enabled device, both you and your guests can unlock and lock your Master Lock Bluetooth Smart-enabled padlock using digital, encrypted "keys". In situations where you don't have your phone or need to provide temporary access to someone, you can also enter a code on the lock keypad to open it.

The default Wake Mode allows the lock to unlock when any button on it is pressed while your phone is nearby. For added security, the optional Wake + Tap Mode requires the user to wake the lock and press a button on their phone in order to unlock it.

The lock owner has the ability to easily add and remove guests, as well as schedule their access for either 24/7 or specific time-limited periods. The Disabled Mode allows the lock to remain locked when your phone is stored inside a locker.

The lock's history log captures various activities such as lock registration, unlocking, opening, and relocking. It also records the method used for unlocking (via Bluetooth Smart-enabled device or directional code), along with the date, time, and user information if available. Additionally, it logs guest invitations, acceptances, and access revocations, as well as tamper alerts for the lock keypad and low battery notifications. The log also includes changes to the Primary Code and settings, such as Automatic Relock Time, Unlock Mode, and Time Zone. It further documents activities such as reset keys and firmware updates. The lock's batteries are replaceable and can be supplemented with an external battery in case they die while the lock is in a locked position.
